Alstra byggforum: care/full arkitektkontor

Alstra Byggforum

care/full arkitektkontor

Opening 12th of November 17:00-20:00

Care/full arkitektkontor is an interactive installation developed as part of Alstra Byggforum’s series Stoppa barn i fängelser (Stop Imprisoning Children). It aims to highlight and explore the role of architecture and architects, as well as visual and verbal communication in the ongoing expansion of the Swedish carceral system, but also raises broader questions about involvement in ethically contentious projects. The opening event will feature a live performance, and drinks and snacks will be provided.

Alstra Byggforum (formerly Kvinnors Byggforum) is a feminist network that has fostered critical dialogue on power, norms, and inequality in the built environment since the 1980s. The installation at Galleri Résistance is created by Saga Eurenius, Signe Wiman Westberg and Anna Ljungström Armah, with graphic design by Katarina Frisö and performance art by Rebecka Hansson.
